It looks like the weather is going to be favorable this week for the market. So come on out and enjoy these wonderful temperatures.
Racheal is again making rhubarb/strawberry pies.
Racheal is again making rhubarb/strawberry pies.
For those of you that don’t want a whole pie she is making small individual pies just for you!
She has also had requests for just rhubarb pie, so if you fit into that category come by and see us.
Sadly, we again will not have fresh rhubarb. The weather has not been cooperating with us but hopefully next week or the following week.
Racheal has also been working on popcorn flavors. This week we are introducing chocolate covered popcorn. We use only organic popcorn, heart healthy oil, and sea salt so you have a healthy snack.

I am currently out of Rhubarb Strawberry Jam and until the next flush of rhubarb growth shows up I have to replace it with Peach Jam. This was a real favorite last season.
Last week I forgot the Doggie Treats, I promise to have them there this week.
Little is ready in the garden but we will have fresh radishes...
I ground some fresh Hot Pepper Mix this week. My hot pepper mix is a blend of peppers that I grew here on our farm. I air dry them and store them in glass containers. I grind them up in small batches at a time in order to preserve the flavor. This is not a “knock you down” hot mix—no habaneros. It is a good medium heat that accompanies most foods. I keep mine in a shaker on the table and use it liberally like black pepper.
I will again have some fresh oregano already strung for you to take home and dry.
Or if you would prefer I will have 2 ounce boxes of freshly dried organically grown oregano. These are far superior to what you get at the store. The oils within the dried leaves are still fresh and flavorful.
Our gluten free/grain free offerings this week are Brownies, Graham Cracker Cookies, and Savory Brown Bread. The Savory Brown Bread is wonderful slathered with a good grass fed butter. The brownies go wonderful with a cup of coffee. (Visit The Grain Free Baker's Kitchen website here!)
While our garden patch is beginning to look like a garden it is a bit early for most things. We will again have fresh radishes.
We look forward to seeing you all at The Market!
