It looks likes the weather is going to hold for the market today, although it looks like it might be a bit hot. The way the season has gone this might be our last “hot” day of the year, so plan on coming out and enjoying it.
We have already mowed off most of our garden. We will have a few things but for the most part we are putting our garden to bed for the winter and looking forward to a better growing season next year.
We have been butchering poultry here at the farm. Currently, we have a very limited supply to sell. If you are interested in purchasing organically grown, free range chicken then come on by and let us know. These birds have never been fed anything GMO. As all grain supplements are 100% certified NON GMO, the result is a healthy chicken from start to finish.

As the season is winding down you may want to consider coming on out and start stocking up on things like honey and jams for the winter months.
Also come by our craft tent and see if we have something of interest. The inventory changes every week. We have a few little girl dresses left, doll dresses, aprons. We also have hair clips and bows.
Winter is coming, and as we plan for that consider the need for a good pair of wool socks. Stop by and see this great looking sock design and consider purchasing a pair or ordering a pair for your loved one for Christmas. Our Socketeer can custom makes these for a proper fit. The fit is what makes these socks superior. I have a small foot and usually a boot sock is too heavy and big for comfort. A sloppy sock is misery in a pair of mud boots. These fit comfortably, they are wool and thus warm. I wore my pair last winter in my mud boots and my feet stayed comfy and warm even in all that cold.
